The First Edition of the Stand for Africa Summit will take place in Houston, Texas-USA under the Patronage of the Mayor of the City of Houston, whose African Affairs Advisor is the SFA Vice-President. 1,000 People are expected at this summit, including Students, Young Entrepreneurs, NBA Athletes and Celebrities, Business Managers, Politicians (African-American Deputies and Senators), chambers of commerce, etc …… .. The summit will last 4 days during which conferences, discussion panels, BtoB meetings, job interviews between graduates and employers, meetings with authorities, site visits and city tours will be organized. A Gala dinner with artists performances will close the event. The Summit is expecting at least one television channel from each country where STAND FOR AFRICA is already present (twenty-one <21> in Africa the Caribbean and America) covering the event and broadening its international outreach. Stand for Africa ambitions to make this Summit the greatest meeting of people from Africa and its diaspora. SFA has already taken all necessary steps for a successful event. SFA is committed in making this meeting a rewarding experience for our Sponsors as well. The organization currently has more than 100 leaders around the world, including business leaders, executives, bankers, journalists and TV reporter (more than 15), lawyers and other liberal professions. The NGO also has several Ambassadors including internationally renowned artists, top athletes, and other influential people.

The candidate must demonstrate real leadership skills. The candidate must be between 16 and 42 years old. Travel and insurance costs are the responsibility of the participant (proof of medical insurance will be required). The participant must complete a medical questionnaire mentioning all health-related conditions such as: allergies, list of dietary restrictions, medical treatment, etc. A medical discharge form must be signed. Transportation costs to all Summit related places and activities in the city of Houston will be covered by the organization. Accommodation costs during the summit are the responsibility of each participant. All participants are required to be accommodated at a hotel where the event is taking place. Prices will be communicated shortly. The airport is Georges Bush International Airport. Each participant is responsible for transportation to and from the airport to the hotel. The participant is responsible for his round trip flight tickets. There is a $250 registration fee to the Houston Summit per participant. The registration fees cover: - Access to all meetings, plenary sessions and discussion panels - Site visits Access to Receptions - Access to the Entrepreneurship Fair, to the start-up competition for young entrepreneurs -Ticket for the Gala Dinner Transport to all events - All Documentation.
